The very first version of Nexcod POS was built for my father, Kajal Kumar Barman, to run the billing at his pharmacy — a fast, dependable system for a local medical store. What started as a tool for one family business quickly proved how much a good billing system could change the way a shop runs every single day.
That first version was purpose-built for pharmacy stores, and it became the foundation we learned everything from — every counter, every bill, every real-world edge case taught us how Indian businesses actually work.
But while building it, one thing became impossible to ignore: across India, countless small shopkeepers and sellers wanted proper billing software, yet the available options were either too expensive or too complicated. Many simply couldn't afford it. A tool that should empower every business was out of reach for the very people who needed it most.
That realisation became the mission behind the platform you're using today.
